I AM Fest returns for a third year at House of Blues. You can expect a full day of killer music and art! The musical acts range from rock n roll to reggae to damn good pop. Last year PB&J sandwiches were made on stage and handed out to the crowd during Laser Love & The Heated Heat, so I’m excited to see what this year has to bring! I hghly recommend checking out Mason’s Case and Kesley Montanez who are playing in the middle of the evening. Mason’s Case is a rock band out of Michigan who headlined the fest last year and played to a way-enthusiastic packed room. Kelsey Montanez is a young local singer/songwriter with an absolutely astounding voice.
The other acts playing include Jip Jop, Gunner & the Grizzly Boys, Workout Music, Wayland, On Your Marx, FinleyKnight, Board of Governers, and Sunshine & the Feel Good Nation

The Graduate is calling it quits. It’s incredibly bittersweet, considering Steph SLY and I both cite them as big influences in our lives. They were one of the first local bands I got into, so it’s sad to see them go. They wanted to go out with a band and lined up several farewell shows. Their final one will be at Reggie’s with Adora, Goodbye Coastline and Stay Golden supporting. It’s going to be a heartfelt night featuring a lot of local favorites.
