On Tuesday, locals Madina Lake and So Many Ways dropped new albums; ML with World War III and SMW with a re-relase of their self-titled. You can catch both of these bands at Metro (3730 N. Clark St.) this Saturday, September 17th.

Just within weeks of each other, Madina Lake posts not one, but TWO new music videos. Watch “Hey Superstar” and “Imagineer” below:

With Their Powers Combined…

JBTV is…
Chicago’s longest running music television show. For the past 25 years, they have been providing us with interviews and performances from national acts, such as Green Day, Ben Folds Five, Silversun Pickups, Against Me!, & Foxy Shazam, as well as our local favorites, like Fall Out Boy, Gold Motel, AM Taxi, Treaty of Paris, & The Frantic. Though JBTV’s an independent television station, it’s not shot in a shoddy location like Wayne Campbell’s basement.  The bands perform on a state of the art HD sound stage, and are filmed with the latest video and recording equipment by a qualified crew.

Tune into JBTV on Wednesday nights at 11PM CST on WJYS-62 (or check your carrier’s local listings).  You can also watch it online at www.jbtvonline.com and/or download video podcasts of the episodes for FREE on iTunes.

Do312 is…
a fairly new, yet booming, websites providing us with the 411 on upcoming concerts, festivals, and food/drink deals around Chicago. They get the inside scoop from major venues, promoters, and all over the internet. It’s hard work (trust us), but they do it to keep us informed and happy. With Do312, you can sign up for free and keep track of all these events around town.

The two have joined forces…
to provide you with the best way you can view these tapings…LIVE!

50 random people (plus guests) who RSVP to the tapings will win guest list spots to the show! Wanna be one of those lucky people?

Here’s how it works:
1. Go to http://do312.com/JBTV and find the taping (or tapings. You know these are too good to pass up) you want to attend.
2. Click “RSVP” next to said taping(s).
3. Provide your full name and e-mail address so they can contact you if you win.
*Don’t uncheck those boxes. You’ll definitely want to get the most up-to-date info from them!
4. Click “RSVP” once more.
5. Play the waiting game. You’ll be notified via e-mail 48 hours prior to the taping.

It’s just that simple.

Upcoming tapings they have featured now include: Alberta Cross, Strung Out, Street Dogs, Riverboat Gamblers, and The Gaslight Anthem.

I know, right?
