One thing I really love is discovering a really good band I have never heard before and then finding out they’re from Chicago. I recently came across indie rockers Republic of Lights, a very talented local band that are joining fellow Chicago acts empires and King Sparrow at Subterranean this Wednesday, November 24th.

The band released their album Go Rococo earlier this month and they want you to have it for FREE. You can grab it at their website. Every song on the album kept my head bobbing. If you like bands like Seabird, Stars of Track and Field, & Deas Veil, then I highly suggest checking these guys out.
