Our favorite punk rock locals The Frantic debuted their new video for “We Were the Kids”, off their latest self titled E.P. This video, directed by Kyle Cogan (who was also responsible for the rambunctious house party that was the “Blackout Brigade” video), documents the fun had with friends on the last days of summer.
The boys are currently on tour with The Pink Spiders. They’re on the east coast now, working their way down south. Check out the rest of the dates/locations here.
The line up for The Frantic’s self titled EP release show has been finalized! The Fold, The Downtown Struts and Shortstop From Tokyo are joining the boys on the Subterranean stage on April 2nd. Grab your tickets here before it sells out. When you do, you’ll get 2 free exclusive songs to download immediately that aren’t even on the new CD!

Your Job: House party! The video is going recreate those not so memorable nights of drunken mayhem… in REVERSE. That’s right folks, the camera will follow Kyle Dee, and the Frantic as they navigate FORWARD through the three story party while the chaos of the night crashes around them in REVERSE. From beer bottles and TV’s breaking ,to pools of jello wrestling and skate ramps, to laundry rooms over flowing into a giant foam party. Yes, you can really drink (21+ ONLY, obviously), but remember be responsible about it.
Last summer, Q101 held a contest for locals to play at Jamboree 2010. The winners included The Frantic, Villain vs. Villain, and David Costa. Well, it looks like they’re getting together once again to play a FREE show at Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville tomorrow, Thursday, January 20th. Just print out the flyer above, grab your I.D., and get ready to enjoy some awesome local music.
